The St. John
Ambulance Singapore is part of a
worldwide organisation, the Order of St. John of Jerusalem, whose history
stretches back more than 900 years. It has existed in Singapore as a voluntary,
non-profit organization since 1935 and is today registered in the Republic
of Singapore as a charity. The name of St. John has long been synonymous with the learning of First Aid. Its training arm, the St. John Ambulance Association, conducts and issues certificates for first aid and related courses to the public at its headquarters in Beach Road, its centre in Jurong East as well as other venues (on request). Being connected worldwide its certificates are widely recognized and accepted. |
