ANNOUNCEMENT

The SANA Course for 2009 is open.  Schools and Zone CPB officers are to adhere to the booking procedures.

 

 

 

OBJECTIVES

The SANA Course is a collaboration between SJAB and SANA, It aims to immunise school students against the dangers of drug and inhalant abuse. It also has a multiplier-effect component that enables participating students to be transfer agents in order to pass on the anti-drug and inhalant abuse message and educate their peers on the dangers of drug abuse.

 

 

COURSE DURATION & VENUE

This is a ONE-DAY COURSE and it will be held at SANA HQ (Sengkang Community Club).  Please see the MAP for the location of the course venue.

 

The course duration is from 9am to 5.30pm.  Participants are required to report to the course venue by 8.45am.  Schools are to arrange transport on their own and arrive on time.

Each session can only accommodate up to 300 participants.

 

Participants are expected to be dressed in their school attire with St John T-shirt / School T-shirt.  Participants are also to bring along their writing materials and enough money for lunch.

 

Schools are to ensure that there are teachers / officers accompanying the participants at the course venue to take care of attendance and discipline.  Schools without accompanying officers / teachers will be taken care by SANA instructors and other officers / teachers present.

COURSE CONTENT & ASSESSMENT

Please look under the section General Information for the course content and assessment guidelines.

 

Participants are to take note that the online submission of transfer agent is to be done with full commitments.  Any forms of cheating will result in the disqualification of the participant from the course, and the participant will not be issued with the certificate.

 

SANA will only award certificates to participants who passed the theory test and complete the online transfer agent.

 

 

AWARD OF CERTIFICATES

Upon completion of the course and assessment, certificate of participation will be issued to participants.  SANA will send the certificates to St John HQ.  The certificates will be distributed to the schools by the respective Zone CPB Officers.

 

 

POST COURSE ADMINISTRATIVE PROCEDURES

Upon receiving the certificates, schools will apply for the badges via the Mass Application using the CPB Management System.  Upon applying the applications online, schools will submit the photocopied certificates of the applicants to the Zone CPB Officers for verification and their recommendation.

 

Zone CPB Officers can also decide whether to apply the Anti-Drug Abuse badge on behalf of all the schools.
